Using the

DeviceManager Chapter 5

Introduction

This chapter provides information about configuring/managing the Device Server using the

DeviceManager. It is assumed that the DeviceManager has already been installed; if you still need to

install the DeviceManager, see

Using DeviceManager on page 23.

Starting a New Session

When you start the DeviceManager application, the New Session window is displayed.

If you want to connect to a Device Server to manage/configure it, or assign a temporary IP address to

a Device Server, select the

Manage Device Server tab. If you want to create a new or edit an existing

configuration file, select the

Configuration tab.
